Daily Bible Study 7/12/18

Psalms 12:

Verse1)    Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.

(a) Isa.57:1> The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.

Verse 2)   They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.

Verse 3)   The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:

Verse 4)   Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

Verse 5)   For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.

(b) Ex.3:7-8> The LORD said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.

Verse 6)   The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

(c) 2 Sam.22:31>   “As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.

Ps.18:30>   As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.

Prov.30:5>  As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.

Verse 7)   Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Verse 8)   The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.
