“Lo, I am with you alway.” — Matthew 28:20

Teaching them to oberve all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Acts 2:42>And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

The old Testament prophecies and genealogies in the book of Matthew present Jesus credentials for being King of the world not a militay or political leader, as the disciples had  orginally hoped. but a spiritual King who can overcome all evil and rule in the heart of every person, If we refuse to the King faithfully, we are disloyal subjects fit only to be banished from the Kingdom, We must make Jesus King of our lives and worship him as our Savior,King and Lord.

Proverbs 25:21 – 22 (12-25-2017)

Rom.12:19-21>   Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Matt.5:44> But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Matt.5:14> Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

2Sam.16:12>It may be that the LORD will look on mine affliction, and that the LORD will requite me good for his cursing this day.

focus:

If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.    God form of retailation is most effective and yet difficult to do, Paul quotes his power in Romans 12:19;21 In Matt. 5:44. Jesus encourages us to pray for those who hurt us. By returning good for evil , we are acknowledging God as the balancer of all accounts and trusting him to be the Judge.

Cutting A Covenant Part I – The Two Covenants

Holding His Word Higher

THE TWO COVENANTS:

THE OLD COVENANT OF THE LAW

AND

THE NEW COVENANT OF GRACE

In the beginning God created the most perfect Garden in which lived two loving, unblemished creatures. “He [God] walked in the garden in the cool of the day with them” and conversed with them (Genesis 3:8). Life was serene, peaceful, uncomplicated. There was only one requirement for this scenario to continue forever: the man and woman must do as God said. He had made His desires clearly known to them. It was all so simple. But in the garden was an interloper, one who was “more subtle and crafty than any living creature of the field” (Genesis 3:1). All he needed to do was let one little lie enter the man and woman’s hearts. The lie went rather like this: “hath God said, hath God really said they couldn’t eat that one little thing?”. What…

1Tim.6:9> But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

This is a general observation that would have been especially applicable to an obedient Israelite living in Solomon’s God – fearing Kingdom. nevertheless some have been marty  at a young age. And some have given away all their wealth for the sake of God’s Kingdom, the book of Proverbs describes life the way it should be, it does not dwell on the exceptions (for more on this concept see note on (Prov.3:16-17). Proverbs contains many strong statements bout the benefits of wisdom, including long life , wealth, honor, and peace. If you aren’t experiencing them , does this mean you are short on wisdom. not necessarly ,instead o gurantees , these statements are generual princeple  In a perfect world wise behavior would always lead to these benefits . Even in our trouble world living wisely usually results in obeious blessing but not always . Sometimes sin interveins , and some blessing must be delayed until Jesus returns to estblich his  eternal Kingdom that is why we must live by faith, not by sight (2Cor.5:7 – (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)  ) we can be sure that wisdom ultimately leads to blessing.

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
