Matthew 3:16-17

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:  And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

 Focus:   The doctrine of the trinity means that God is three person and yet one in essence. I persons of Trinity are present and active. God the Father speaks  God the Son is baptized:  God the Holy Spirit descends on Jesus. God is one yet in three persons at the same time. This is one f God’s incomprehenisble mysteries.

verse 16 (Jesus) Mark 1:10> And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

(U) he saw the Spirit of God   (U) Isa.11:2> And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

Luke 3:22> And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

 John 1:32>And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

verse 17. this is my belove  son. in whom I am well pleased.  Ps.2:7> I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Luke 9:35>And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
