Hosea 13:6> According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.
There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
Isa.65:5> Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
Luke 18:11> The Pharisee, stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
Tit.1:15-16 > Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. (void of judgment)
